Hi Everyone, Welcome to the Guilford Boys Lacrosse website!
The intent of this page is to give parents and players an overview of events, meetings, fundraising, requirements and miscellaneous information.
2010 will be a very exciting season. We're starting the season off with a solid group of returning players and an upcoming underclass that have great potential. Our program continues to improve each year. Our players overall are getting better and better. Last year we had a number of players achieving All-Conference and All-State recognition. Coach White was awarded Class M Coach of the Year! We are expecting this year to be even better.
The Netminders have financially supported our players year round. We contribute towards player participation in the off-season tournaments, supporting the winter program, purchasing essential equipment and supplies that the School's Athletic Department does not provide. Netminders is actively involved in promoting the Team Players to volunteer in Community Service. It is up to us to ensure that our players have success on and off the field. The Netminders goal is to raise approximately $19,000 per year to support our Lacrosse Team. Therefore as we enter our new season, we need to address fundraising. Our funds come from three main areas: Annual Dues, our Ad Book, and our Letter Writing Campaign. We supplement these activities with the concession stand, player pictures, car washes and other fundraisers. Your Participation in Fundraising is greatly needed - please help where you can. Please click on the "Documents" tab under HOME and go to "Parent Participation Forms". This link contains the Volunteer Form, Ad book form, Two Way Fundraising Letter and the Picture Order form. Remember we are doing this to improve a very good program and continue to build a strong program for the upcoming players.
